Welcome to the Khyber Institute of Child Health (KICH), the center of excellence in child health in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. KICH is new of its kind focusing on teaching, training, research and community child health issues.
The inspirational mission of the institute is to:
“Improve the health and well-being of all the children in every aspect,including mental, physical, psychosocial, andprotection from child neglect, abuse and exploitation through research, awareness raising, advocacy, education and community mobilization.”
I am honored with the role of first Deanof KICH. I am looking forward to building on the Institute’s success in realizing this important mission and the contribution which it makes to the health of children throughout the country.
